coordinated by WARUG volunteers from the Remedy user community. Speakers are invited from the user community,
BMC Remedy, and/or the Remedy related vendor community. WARUG speakers and demoers participate free
of charge. Presentations must be Remedy
related and be more of a technical nature than marketing or sales. Participants are provided written guidelines
for presentation content, logistics, and meeting format.
Remedy users are encouraged to
volunteer to speak at meetings in order to share their design and
implementation experiences with the group.
Presentations by WARUG members are known as “Case Studies” and can be on
any Remedy related subject that users would like to share with the group.
Presentations by BMC Remedy are
intended to keep WARUG members informed about Remedy products and to give the
audience a chance to ask technical and other questions of Remedy staff.
Remedy related vendors are
invited to speak at WARUG meetings on specific products that integrate with the
Remedy products in order to educate the group on the technicalities of interfacing
with 3rd party products.
Remedy related vendors are also invited to meetings to demonstrate their
products and provide literature to members during sign-in, at breaks and
between 12PM and 1PM outside of the Booz Allen Hamilton Auditorium.
